Momentous Records celebrates the spirit of the independent artist
We teamed up with the Friends of the La Crosse River Marsh on the new release Backwaters by Momentous Records artist Mike Starling. John Sullivan's marsh photography is featured in the album's first video "The Floating World" above. We are also making the complete album free to download at Bandcamp. In return, we ask that those who are able consider making a small donation to help the Friends of the Marsh on their volunteer, nonprofit mission to preserve the wetlands of western Wisconsin, one of the inspirations for Starling's new collection of guitar-based instrumental music. Learn more on Mike's artist page.
A live peformance of "Dis 'n Dat" by the John Paulson Big Band at the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing, Minnesota. Learn more on Paulson's artist page.
A live performance of "Sporting Life" by the Mayer Brothers Band at the Pump House Regional Arts Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
