It's good news for music fans and musicians alike as live shows are being booked again here in the Driftless Region. We encourage you to see where Momentous Records artists will be playing on their artist websites and social feeds.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Momentous Records worked closely with our artists to find new ways to bring their music to the world. Below are videos of two of those livestream concerts. Like they said in those classic old long-distance commercials, it was "the next best thing to being there."

THE MAYER BROTHERS BAND LIVE AT THE PUMP HOUSE REGIONAL ARTS CENTER, LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN

Note from the band: "In October of 2017 we had a concert at the Pump House as part of their 40th anniversary season. It also happened to be the anniversary of the Mayer Brothers arriving in La Crosse."

The concert video features songs from the band's debut album Stay Out of the Rain along with a few select covers and interviews with band members Terry Nirva, Tom Gibbons and Hans and Kit Mayer. The show starts at 4:43 in the archived video above.

ARIAN LYDON & FRIENDS LIVE AT AVS STUDIOS, LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN

The theme of the concert was "Walking a Mile in Your Shoes" and features Momentous Records artist Ariane Lydon's carefully curated list of cover tunes for healing during COVID-19. Ariane was backed by a top group of local musicians including Paul Leithold (electric guitar), Mark Davini (keyboards), Rich MacDonald (drums), and Dedrick Benz (bass).
